Twelve years ago, someone sitting on this bench could look across the gully to Mount Umunhum. Over the past few years, these trees started to grow. The spot is right next to the main power lines. When we first moved here, there were several fir trees close to the lines. Now that the trees are either drastically trimmed or removed, I think sunny conditions are making it easy for these other types of trees to grow. It won't be long before the view will disappear.
